Located in the beautiful Mark Twain National Forest, Camp Sunnen is a 340-acre camp on Lake Sunnen just west of Potosi, MO. Fresh drinking water is provided by a year-round spring. The lake and aquatic area offer extensive swimming, boating, and snorkeling opportunities. Additionally, there is a climbing/repelling tower with a rock wall attached.
Only 90 miles south of St. Louis, Camp Sunnen is unique because of the closeness to clear bottom Missouri streams and the Mark Twain National Forest. Camp Sunnen’s location provides a springboard into the wilderness for Scouts prepared to meet the challenge of true wilderness hiking, camping, and canoeing.
All reservations are made through the council’s online camp reservation portal.
