Boy Scout Summer Camp
Due to safety concerns surrounding the UTE Park Fire, Philmont has canceled a number of trips during its summer 2018 season. Details and up-to-date information can be found at philmontscoutranch.org
The Greater Saint Louis Area Council realizes that many units have been preparing for a summer adventure, and we are committed to ensuring every Scout still has that opportunity. For this reason, we have developed the Ozark Adventure, based out of S bar F Scout Ranch and the Ozark Trail, for any crew wanting a similarly challenging backpacking adventure.
The Greater St. Louis Area Council offers one of the premier summer camp experiences in the Boy Scouts of America. Scouts will encounter challenges they first thought were beyond their ability and find programs that stir the imagination. Using the outdoors as our classroom, boys will build character and skills that can be used in their everyday lives.
From our facilities, to our staff, to our food, summer camp is better in the Greater St. Louis Area Council.
