STEMfest:
August 11
Join us for the second annual GLSAC STEMfest, hosted by Pole Position Raceway! Enjoy free STEM activities from our STEM partners, and race around the 1/4 mile track for just $10 (a $21-$25 value!). Purchase your discounted tickets at sign-in on August 11.

Cub Scout NOVA Wild! Day:
September 8
Cub Scout NOVA Day gives Wolves, Bears, & Webelos the opportunity to explore and learn from the cool exhibits at the World Bird Sanctuary, and earn the STEM Nova Wild! Award.

Cub Scout NOVA Day 
September 15
Join us for our 5th annual Cub Scout NOVA Day hosted at the Saint Louis Science Center. Scouts will get to explore the Planetarium, Omnimax, and the Science Center while earning their 1-2-3 Go! NOVA. Registration coming soon!

Cub Scout STEM Days:
October 6 & October 20
Join us at  Lindenwood University- Belleville on October 6th and Fabick CAT on October 20. At Cub Scout STEM Day, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, & Webelos get to enjoy a morning of cool experiments and hands-on projects that will get them excited about STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics. Scout will split up by rank to earn a STEM-based elective Adventure with the help of Mad Science instructors. In the fall, Tigers earn Sky Is the Limit, Wolves earn Motor Away, Bears earn Super Science, and Webelos earn Adventures in Science. In the Spring (April 6) Tigers earn Curiosity Intrigue and Magical Mysteries, Wolves earn Air of the Wolf, Bears earn Make it Move, and Webelos earn (most of) Earth Rocks.

Radical Robotics:

We’re back! Bring all Scouts — boys and girls, siblings and friends — to a morning of fast-paced, engaging technology and engineering. Scouts will learn basic robotics by building and testing their own T4 Transforming Solar Robot that they get to take home!  Recommended ages are 7-13, but all are welcome. Registration coming soon!

Scoutbotics
October 27
This event offers Boy Scouts, Explorers, Venturers, and youth ages 11-17 the opportunity to design, program, and race a robot. This event is for those youth interested in robotics and looking for an engaging and challenging opportunity to exercise their STEM legs! Participants will leave with their ‘own robot’ and the memory of a fantastic day of robot fun! Registration coming soon!

Boy Scout NOVA Day:
March 16
Boy Scout NOVA Day gives Scouts the opportunity to explore the cool exhibits at the Saint Louis Science Center, learn from the Science Center’s expert instructors, and earn a STEM Nova Award and Merit Badge. Scouts will spend the day working, creating, and problem solving as they learn about STEM topics. Nova Day activities have included feeding the Science Center chickens, building electromagnets and simple machines, talks with real scientists, and agricultural robot demonstrations (depending on which Nova is being earned).
