Join us and discover the exciting world of Scouting at Day One. This is a great opportunity for new Cub Scouts to see what the Scouting experience is all about.
At Day One, Cub Scouts participate in outdoor activities, games and a full day of hands-on introductions to BB guns, campfire cooking, science projects, art and leatherworking. For the more adventurous Scouts, there’s even mud cave exploration! (Activities may vary by location.)
Come when you can and plan to stay all day. Families are welcome and picnic lunches are encouraged. Concessions and souvenirs of your day’s adventure will be available for purchase at the Trading Post.
Day One is a terrific way to jump-start your Cub Scout on the Scouting path.

Join us for this fun, age-appropriate, but scary activity to add to the Halloween spirit. Cub Scouts and their families are invited to the outstanding facilities of Cub World for an evening of enjoyable activities. Some activity areas are more frightening than others with ghosts and goblins providing a safe but scary experience appropriate for most Cub Scout-aged boys.
Fall Fright Fest is limited to Cub Scouts, siblings (between the ages of 6-11) and their parents, and only 1,000 reservations will be taken. Your activity fee includes the event program and a goody bag for each child.
Plan to spend two hours to finish your Fright Fest experience. Groups begin every 30 minutes.
The Cub Scout Advancement Workshop (CSAW) and Boy Scout Advancement Workshop (BSAW) are the perfect options for Scouts working toward earning their rank advancements and merit badges. These workshops can be a great resource when a Scout needs to catch up; a qualified merit badge counselor is required in a specialized area or if a struggling troop needs some experienced guidance.
Any Scout or unit interested in attending CSAW or BSAW can do so by contacting
Khary Floyd (314-256-3082).The workshops include lunch for the Scouts and are free of charge to all participants.
