💥Saturday Spotlight!💥

Eagle Scout, Maximilian M. was very conservation-minded with his Eagle Scout project!

Max led his fellow Scouts in building bat boxes to be placed in Carondelet Park in St. Louis. The bat houses provided bats a place to settle and safely raise their young in the park rather than surrounding homes or city buildings. Bats eat around 1,000 insects a night, so these houses also provide bug control in the area. Further, bats play an essential role in the pollination of the park.

Congratulations, Max!
