Attention leaders we are looking for sponsors to donate to our district dinner please see the attached information regarding the sponsorship.

April 8, 2021

Dear Sir or Madame:

My name is Georgia Schaljo. I am a local volunteer for the North Star District of the Boy Scouts of America. We serve the youth across the communities of North St. Louis County including Hazelwood, Florissant, Ferguson, Jennings, Bellefontaine Neighbors and Blackjack. (the School Districts of Ferguson-Florissant, Hazelwood, Jennings and Riverview)

The purpose of my letter today is to ask if you would consider donating to our annual North Star District Dinner. Our annual dinner is a night to honor and thank our volunteers for all the hard work they contribute that makes our organization possible.

The ultimate rank that can be achieved by a youth in the scouting program is the Eagle Scout award. The award is achieved through demonstrated leadership abilities and service to community amongst other stringent requirements. We have had an impressive number of youths earn this honor in our area in the past year. Through your donations we are hoping to recognize them at our dinner.

Your generous donation will make it possible for us to honor these young men and women and the volunteers who have mentored them at our annual dinner. We will also honor the leaders who have kept the program going for our youth during the pandemic. For your donation, we will print an advertisement for you or your business which will be given to the guests at our District Dinner. I am attaching a template of our advertisement sizes and suggested donation. Please include a sample of what you would like that advertisement to be along with your donation. We also will share these advertisements at our future events. Thank you in advance for all your generosity.

Please make donations to:

GSLAC (Greater St. Louis Area Council); in the memo please write: NS District Dinner.

Checks can be mailed to:

Georgia Schaljo
1460 Pepperhill Drive
Florissant, MO 63033

Thank you for your time and all you do for this community,
