Venturing Summer Camp

2017-swift-base-flyer2018 Venturing
Summer Camp Registration

One of only a few summer camp facilities dedicated solely to Venturing Summer Camp, Swift High Adventure Base at S bar F Scout Ranch is truly a unique program for your Venturing Crew but is also open to Explorer Posts, and older Scout Patrols.

The Ranch’s 270-acre Nims Lake serves as the focal point for Venturing Summer Camp with water skiing, sailing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, water tubing, sun bathing, kayaking and water sliding. Our herd of horses will allow you to saddle-up and explore the wilderness trails. If heights and challenges are your thing, we offer rock climbing, rappelling and a high and low ropes course. You may want to try your hand at firing a .22 rifle, pistol, shotgun or archery. Evening programs include campfires, dances, volleyball and crazy competitions. Or you might go out for a canoe trip overnight. During Swift summer camp, you choose what you want to do.

Are you ready for adventure? Register for 2018 Venturing Camp now!

Specialty Week Summer Camps

Kodiak Challenge Trek
Kodiak Challenge, like NYLT, is a second-tier leadership training of the Boy Scouts of America. A unit or individual may participate in a Kodiak Challenge centered on a challenging five-day trek. Kodiak is a challenging trek with simple and fun leadership skills at its core. Kodiak Challenge is not taught in a classroom; it is done in settings that are more aligned with the participants’ interests.
*To participate in Kodiak, simply sign up for any week of camp at Swift.
