Swift High Adventure Base
Why Swift?
One of four camps on the 5,200 acre S-F Scout Ranch, Swift High Adventure Base is home to the region’s premier Venturing Summer Camp program.
Swift is only one of a few summer camps specifically accredited for Venturing Summer Camp and is truly a unique program for your Venturing Crew! Summer camps at Swift are also open to Explorer Posts and older Scout Patrols. Individuals (provisional) are also welcome to attend!
The Ranch’s 270-acre Nims Lake serves as the focal point for Venturing Summer Camp with water skiing, sailing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, water tubing, knee boarding, sun bathing, and kayaking. One of the highlights of the lake is our very own water park, Huck’s Cove.
Huck’s Cove features two waterslides, rope swings, zip lines, inflatables and more!
Our herd of horses will allow you to saddle-up and explore the wilderness trails.
If heights and challenges are your thing, we offer rock climbing, rappelling and a high and low ropes course.
You may want to try your hand at firing rifle, pistol (.22 and 9mm), shotgun or archery.
Evening programs include campfires, dances, volleyball and crazy competitions. Or you might go out for a canoe trip overnight.

Join us for a Sea Scout Focused week from June 29 – July 3, 2025!
Or choose to stay the full week until July 5th!
