Map, Compass and Orienteering – Adult Leader Training (ALT)
This training is for leaders 18 years and older, and helps prepare them to take their troops through the map and compass program at Beaumont Scout Reservation. The program is a progressive learning experience incorporating games, fun, map reading and compass skills. The day will culminate by using the skills on an orienteering course.

Scouts BSA First Class Orienteering Requirement #4A (orienteering) Event
This is an orienteering event intended to fulfill the orienteering requirement for First Class Scout. Registration is pre-event and by units only. There is no individual registration. Scouts must be under the supervision of their unit leaders. Scouts should show up prepared for the event, with instruction/training in orienteering before the start likely being very limited depending on the availability of the Map & Compass / Orienteering Committee staff.

Scout Orienteering Festival
This annual event at Beaumont Scout Reservation allows Scouts to put their skills to the test and enjoy a fun Orienteering course competition. Registration will be on the morning of the event. There is no pre-registration. The cost is $5.00 per participant. Please, submit a count of participants by Wednesday, March 3, 2027 to:
