Scouts work over 3 days to complete all requirements for Drafting, Engineering, and Inventing Merit Badges, applying the core concepts of design, problem-solving, and material science to real-world challenges. This is a day-only program; no overnight camping is required.

This event is our annual opportunity to honor our local Scouts' accomplishments for obtaining a Supernova Award or multiple awards and to recognize our STEM volunteers and sponsors. Supernova Recipients in attendance will receive a token of appreciation from the Greater St. Louis Area Council.
Thanks to the generosity of the Great Rivers Confluence Foundation, our key sponsor, the event is free for Supernova Award Recipients and one adult per family. Thanks also to the generosity of Boeing, Sophia Bright, and Mark Fronmuller - our Council STEM Chair.
Seating is limited, but additional seats can be purchased for $30 for guests of the recipient and all other event attendees. We also want to thank Boeing Corporation for hosting this event in their James S. McDonnell Prologue Room of their headquarters building and providing auditorium space for our formal program.

What is STEM University?
STEM University is a full day event for Cub Scouts (Wolf, Bear, Webelos, & AOL) and Scouts BSA, focused on earning STEM-based advancements and NOVA awards.
Scouts will get to visit a University, work with STEM experts, and participate in fun, hands-on educational activities. See below for locations and dates.

STEM Nova Twilight Camp is perfect for curious minds who love to build, test, and explore. Scouts attend camp for five consecutive evenings and dive into hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities designed specifically for Cub Scout ages. This evening-only format fits around daytime schedules while giving Scouts a fun, focused STEM experience that supports STEM Nova achievements.
Non-Scout siblings are welcome also! They need to be Cub Scout age (entering second grade in the Fall on up).
Where: Cub World - Beaumont Scout Reservation
When: June 22 (Monday) - June 26 (Friday)
Time: 6:15 - 8:45 p.m.
Theme: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math
How Much: $75 per Cub Scout
July 22nd-26th, 6:15-8:45 p.m.
SIBLINGS ARE WELCOME AS WELL! They need to be of Cub Scout age, going into Kindergarten in the Fall and up. There is no Pee Wee day care program with this camp.
This is a commuting camp to Cub World each night. Gathering time - 5:45 p.m.
Program kickoff - 6:15 p.m. Program should end about 8:45 p.m. Individual registrations accepted or come as a Den or Pack. Everyone from the same Pack will travel together in the same rotation group. Participants will receive a STEM shirt, STEM patch, a headlamp, plus other program elements!
Cost: $60 until June 6th, $70 after that.

STEM on CAMPus is a unique “camp” experience where Scouts BSA get a taste for college life! Sleep in the dorms, eat in the dining halls, and have fun each evening with a variety of activities including campus rec center nights! Scouts have the opportunity to earn up to 6 Merit Badges or NOVAs at each camp. Sign up for two camps and save!

Scouting the Arts on CAMPus is a brand-new experience unlike anything we’ve ever offered before! This inaugural camp gives Scouts a true backstage pass to the creative heart of Southeast Missouri State University, with hands-on access to the River Campus. Spend a weekend living on campus, exploring theater, design, music, and visual arts, and learning where creativity meets real-world careers. From studios to stages, cameras to clay, this is college life through an artistic lens. You won't want to miss this immersive, unforgettable experience!

STEM Week Highlights
This camp is an extraordinary experience for Scouts full of many STEM based merit badges, new Skilled Trades merit badge track, and over-the-top activities.
Scouts will attend one merit badge (over to 60 to choose from!) or one NOVA activity class each day and may have the opportunity to work on other badges in the evening.
Afternoon and evenings will include other fun STEM programs and exhibits to experience (drones, 3D printing, things that go boom... you get the idea). If you want more in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and Skilled Trades, this is the week to be out at camp!
