According to a recent Boy’s Life survey, fishing is the 4th most popular activity among scouts with 61% participating.

Join us for 5 virtual and 1 in-person workshop sessions for BSA Certified Angling Instructor Training Opportunity.  Attendees will have the opportunity to earn the BSA Certified Angling Instructor recognition.

The course is taught using the EDGE Method, in effort to provide the graduate the tools necessary to design, develop, and provide leadership to BSA fishing programs offered to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing Programs at a Unit, District and Council level.

In addition, Certified Angling Instructors are considered to be great candidates for service as Merit Badge Counselors for Fishing, Fly Fishing, as well as Fish and Wildlife Management.

There are five (5) virtual sessions and one lakeside session at Forest Park.

Virtual sessions are May 18, 25; Jun 1,8, and 15. Lakeside session is June 18.
