Cub Scout Overnight Camp
Two or Three night camping experience for all ages of Cub Scouts (entering 1st through 5th grade)
- Attend as a pack or as a family
- Select whether you want to attend two nights or three nights for any of the sessions
Camp fees includes all meals, tenting (at Camp May), program supplies, and camp patch!
Drop-Off Camper Option
All of our camps require adult leaders to attend with their camper(s). However, if you select the Drop-Off camper option, you pay an increased fee to have camp staff be the leaders for your camper(s). This allows you to “drop off” your camper without adult leaders being present. The camp staff are adults, both male and female, who are trained to assume the responsibility of your camper(s). Available first come, first serve and may be limited to availability. All Tigers (those entering the 1st grade in the fall) must have an adult with them no matter what and are not eligible for choosing the drop-off camper option.
Camp May Specific Highlighted Experiences: Explore Beaumont’s very own cave, Mud Cave, climb the climbing tower at night, and swim in the Camp May pool!
Rhodes France Scout Camp Specific Highlighted Experiences: Swim in the Rhodes France Pool, try your hand at range and target activites in some of the best ranges in GSLAC, and experience camp fire at the iconic Firebowl.
Each camp location, Camp May, and Rhodes France Scout Camp have their own unique flare and experience. So much so, you could attend more than one and get a similar outline but different experience!
Advancement
This camp is for all ages/ranks, incoming 1st Grade and up. During the morning and afternoon, Scouts will do age-specific activities and advancements so they can start their Scouting year off with a few awards completed by the time they leave camp!
