Recognize an Outstanding Volunteer

Each January, the District Annual Recognition Dinner honors those volunteers within New Horizons who have gone above and beyond in the year prior.

2026 District Dinner Registration

The deadline to nominate an individual for the Spark Plug Award or District Award of Merit is Friday, December 5.

Spark Plug Award

The annual Spark Plug Award is an award for an adult in a Pack, Troop, or Crew who, through his/her constant efforts, is a driving force in the unit. It is an award for those who might not otherwise be recognized at the district level for their contributions to their units.
