Coffee Fundraiser 2022
The Greater St. Louis Area Council is excited to be offering a new fundraising program! Coffee sales can generate enough income to financially support your Scouting program for the entire year! Money from coffee can be used to cover the cost of camporees, pinewood derby races, field trips, equipment, badges and advancement, and summer camp.

- There is NO up-front cost to your unit.
- Units pay for only the product they sell.
- Sales support local Scouting.
- A built-in prize program encourages Scouts to sell.
- Coffee sales teach Scouts the responsibility and value of earning their own way.

- Scouts can earn free camping at a Greater St. Louis Area Council camp of their choice!
Weekly Reorders
You have the ability to order more coffee in cases of 10 which can be picked up on September 16th. If you have any questions please contact Retha Taylor at gslac.productsales@scouting.org.
If you run out of show and sell product you can order more! You can reorder in cases of 10. Orders will be due every Friday and will be available to pick up at your closest council office the following Friday.
Enter your order by noon on Fridays. Pick up will be the following Friday at your local council office.

Units will receive 33% commission on all sales!
Individual bags sell for $18 per bag. Customers will have the ability on the order form to choose ground or whole bean. We will also have two bundles and two First Responders donations available.
Coffee Flavors
Decaf Espresso- A balanced but complex espresso blend offering subtle smokiness and hints of dark chocolate. This coffee was air-roasted to an Italian roast profile and tastes equally wonderful straight-up or manually brewed. Tasting notes: smokey chocolate covered raspberries. Dark Roast

St. Louis Blend combines a subtle, sweet nuttiness with a clean brightness. This coffee was air-roasted to a medium profile and blended to make a wonderful coffee for any time of the day. Tasting notes: citrus and caramel with a nutty undertone. Medium Roast
Guatemala Antigua- A classic offering from the Antigua region, our Guatemala Antigua features a sweet, nutty character with a balanced body. This coffee was air-roasted to a medium profile, highlighting the rich, nutty flavor with notes of brown sugar. Tasting notes: citrus, rich whiskey, chocolate, and butterscotch. Medium Roast
offers a subtle, sweet nuttiness with a clean bright finish. This coffee is exceptional when cold-brewed for iced coffee. A perfect coffee to kick your day into high gear. Tasting notes: chocolate and brown sugar with a nutty undertone. Medium- Light Dark Roast

Schnucks Show & Sell Sign-Up
Schnucks Grocery Stores are going to allow exclusive access to our units for two weekends to assist with your show & sell!
Dates:
September 23-25
September 30– October 2
Units will have the ability to sign up for a Show & Sell opportunity at every Schnucks Market in our region. Units will only be able to sign up for one time slot to allow every unit the opportunity to take advantage of this opportunity. We will allow units to register for additional time slots on September 1st.

Your Scouts can sell coffee online anytime! For online sales, coffee is ordered by and shipped directly to the customer.
How will customers receive Coffee purchased online?
Customers have the option to have cards mailed directly to their address or pick the coffee up at their local Service Center.
How will Units get Credit for the Purchased Coffee?
The GSLAC Staff will track all orders and provide weekly reports to District Executives, Unit Leaders of each unit's sales.
It is important to remind those that go to purchase cards to list the unit number and the name of the Scout's family so that we can give credit to the Unit.

Final Order Instructions
- Collect your scout's order forms.
- Return coffee that you do not need. (All coffee needs to be returned by Oct 26)
- Submit your final take ( you will be ordering by the bag, bundle, or first responder donation not the case)
- Pick up coffee on November 10,11,12
Select a date to collect order forms and money from Scouts: You must place the unit order by May 1st use the week prior to follow up with anyone missing and tally everyone's orders together. You will be ordering your coffee by bags not by the case.

In late November you will receive your unit's final invoice via mail and email.
- Review the invoice to make sure everything is correct
- Get one check from your unit for the entire balance due made out to "Greater St. Louis Area Council, BSA"
