District Awards

It’s that time of year to recognize all the hard work that Scouting volunteers put into making the program succeed!

The annual Spark Plug Award is an award for an adult in a Pack, Troop, or Crew who, through his/her constant efforts, is a driving force in the unit. It is an award for those who might not otherwise be recognized at the district level for their contributions to their units. If you feel someone in your Unit is deserving of such an honor, please take the time to submit a nomination.

The District Award of Merit is a council award presented by districts in the same manner that the Silver Beaver is a national award presented by councils. The award is available to Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level. If you feel someone in the district is deserving of such an honor, please take the time to submit a nomination.

Qualifications for both awards are found on the nomination forms.
